Wilson Pro AVL Transforms Fellowship Church with ADJ & Elation Lighting Powerhouse Installation

Rome, GA — August 21, 2025 — Fellowship Church in Rome, GA has unveiled a dramatic new sanctuary transformation driven by the power of ADJ and Elation Professional lighting fixtures, all designed and installed by Wilson Pro AVL. With bold color, precision control, and cutting-edge technology, this system brings an entirely new dimension to worship — engaging every attendee in a fully immersive environment.

Lighting as the Heart of the Upgrade

At the core of the project is a world-class ADJ and Elation lighting system carefully curated to cover every worship moment — from intimate atmospheres to high-energy celebration.

Elation Professional fixtures lead the charge with 34 KL PAR FC units delivering brilliant, full-spectrum washes across the sanctuary. These fixtures bring crystal-clear color rendering and vibrant output, ensuring worship leaders and musicians are beautifully lit from every angle. To highlight the sanctuary’s most important symbol, Wilson Pro AVL strategically positioned an Elation PIX600 to illuminate the cross, giving it a radiant, programmable glow that commands attention in every service.

ADJ fixtures expand the creative palette, adding versatility and punch to the system. Highlights include:

  • 8 ADJ Ultra LB18 LED bars – drenching the stage in deep, saturated color.

  • 2 ADJ Encore Profile 1000 COLORs – theatrical-quality spotlights for precise beam shaping.

  • 8 ADJ Encore Z7 LPs – dynamic zoom pars that adapt to any stage look.

  • 8 ADJ Encore LP12IPs – rugged IP-rated pars for reliable, consistent coverage.

  • 2 ADJ STR100 movers – bursts of high-energy light for big worship moments.

Together, ADJ and Elation deliver a perfect balance of wash, profile, strobe, and effect lighting — giving Fellowship Church limitless creative possibilities.

Rigging & Custom Engineering

The sanctuary’s wooden beam construction presented a major rigging challenge. Wilson Pro AVL overcame this by designing and fabricating custom wood-beam rigging clamps to ensure a safe and secure hang. Onto this foundation, the team installed 30 feet of Global Truss DT-GP10 and a 40-foot Light Source MegaBatten, creating a strong and versatile rigging backbone.

Powerful Control with Elation NX1

To harness this powerhouse of fixtures, Wilson Pro AVL deployed an Elation NX1 lighting console, giving Fellowship Church professional-grade control in a compact footprint. A four-universe DMX system was designed with precision distribution, including:

  • 1 Elation DMX10-5 distribution splitter

  • 4 Ace Backstage 123SLBK DMX stage boxes

  • 3 Springtree Media SM8W wall stations for simple, preset-based operation

  • Lightronics AR1202 dimmer for seamless integration of house lighting

This layered control system ensures that both advanced lighting designers and everyday volunteers can operate the system with confidence.

Enhancing Worship with Broadcast & Audio

While ADJ and Elation lighting are the stars of the transformation, Wilson Pro AVL also delivered upgrades to broadcast and sound reinforcement. A dedicated broadcast room was outfitted with five Lumens PTZ cameras and a Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio HD8 switcher, giving Fellowship Church professional-quality video streaming capabilities. To round out the project, eight JBL AC16 speakers were installed as under-balcony fills, ensuring consistent audio coverage throughout the sanctuary.
