Mike Wilson founded Wilson Pro AVL with a simple conviction: houses of worship deserve technology that serves the message, not the other way around. With nearly four decades of hands-on experience designing, integrating, and installing audio, video, and lighting systems, Mike has built a career around creating solutions that help organizations communicate effectively and achieve their mission.

Prior to founding Wilson Pro AVL, Mike designed and built the video production department for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, developing professional-grade production capabilities that supported critical communications and training initiatives. This experience, combined with decades of AVL integration expertise, has given him a unique perspective on designing systems that are both highly functional and easy to operate.

Under Mike’s leadership, Wilson Pro AVL has completed more than 400 audio, video, and lighting installations across 36 states and two countries, serving churches of all sizes with customized solutions tailored to their unique ministry goals. The company has earned a reputation for delivering reliable, scalable systems that combine technical excellence with a deep understanding of worship environments.

In 2025, Mike was appointed as an AVL Consultant for Worship Leader Magazine, a recognition of his expertise and commitment to helping churches navigate the evolving landscape of worship technology. Through this role, he provides guidance and insight to church leaders seeking to leverage technology in ways that enhance worship and support ministry effectiveness.
